  It is a device that allows us to lengthen the periods of cleaning the air filter without loss of power and providing an optimal air/fuel mixture.

  Long life air filter

  Pre-separating the STIHL air filter offloads the following filter elements and significantly lengthens filter cleaning intervals. Thus, STIHL chainsaws equipped with pre-separated long-life air filters have a longer service life than those equipped with standard filter systems.

  STIHL 2-MIX engine with air scavenging

  With the gas scavenging by air, a layer of clean fuel air is created between the already burned mixture in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the precompression crankcase. Advantage: fewer fuel losses, more ecological and up to 20% less fuel consumption compared to conventional two-stroke engines (See clarifying image).

  QuickStop Super (Q) chain brake

  An additional braking system. The chain stops when the rear handle switch is released.

  STIHL Side Chain Tensioner

  The chain is tensioned laterally through the chain sprocket cover, with ease. This prevents contact with the sharp chain.

  Closure of deposits without the need for tools

  Special closures for gasoline and oil tanks, which allow them to be opened and closed without the need for tools.

  STIHL Ematic System

  This system reduces the consumption of chain adhesive oil. It consists of the Ematic bar, the Oilomatic chain. With these components, the chain oil reaches where it is really needed without losses. In this way, chain oil consumption can be reduced by up to 50%.

  STIHL four-channel technique

  Four charge channels create turbulence in the air/fuel mixture before the time of explosion. This achieves optimum fuel combustion and significantly higher engine performance. The result: lower fuel consumption and higher torque at a wider RPM range.
