The plates V-20 are a type of signaling that must be APPROVED and that must carry all the vehicles that circulate the España that transport load that protrudes for the back part.
The plate V-20 is an aluminum plate with a few measures of 50x50cm. On its surface there is a reflective sheet with white and red stripes.

The V-20 must be placed at the rear end of the load in such a way that it is constantly perpendicular to the vehicle's axis, i.e. that vehicles driving behind it can always see it.

If the load is protruding from the sides of the vehicle, two V-20s should be placed at the rear of the vehicle so that they form an inverted V

When we place protruding cargo on the rear of the vehicle, such as a "portabicis", it sometimes covers the ordinary license plate (0000 BBB or BU-0000-A), so whenever we hide it, we must place a copy of the ordinary license plate in the center of the car next to the V-20.

The regulation does not say anything about how to attach the plate to the vehicle, so we can use an octopus, or a strap, although the ideal is to place a plate holder with two pilots prepared to hold both the ordinary license plate and the V-20 plate. If we are always going to have the plate in place, we can screw it to the bike carrier or to the appropriate accessory.

Failure to have the V-20 plate properly attached may be grounds for a fine.
