Although it has adhesive, many times people tend to glue the ends or the strip with Superglue (cyanoacrylate). NEVER stick it with that glue, since it reacts with the leds and they end up melting quickly. We recommend gluing it, for example, with hot silicone or another glue that is not a cyanoacrylate compound. It is a vidacampista advice.

We also recommend sticking it on a metal surface, to help dissipate a bit of the heat generated by the led.

In any case, we highly recommend the aluminum-based led strip that you can see below. Aluminum dissipates much better than any flexible led strip. We have tested them in the store, for about 4 years without interruption, and they continue to give the same light as the first day.
