Although it has an adhesive, many times people usually glue the ends or the strip with Superglue (cyanoacrylate). NEVER stick it with that glue, since it reacts with the leds and they end up melting quickly. We recommend gluing it, for example, with hot silicone or another glue that is not a cyanoacrylate compound. It is a advice of vidacampista.

We also recommend sticking it on a metal surface, to help dissipate a little the heat generated by the LED.

In any case, we strongly recommend the aluminum-based LED strip that you can see below. Aluminum dissipates much better than any flexible led strip. We have tested them in the store, for about 4 years without interruption, and they continue to give the same light as the first day.
