Location:
1. Dismount the door and put it on a comfortable work table. Remove the old board. Measure the length of the old board and cut the new board on measure.
Attention, both ends of the new board have to stay perfectly together, to maintain the sealing of the stove. Our technicians measure the length, put a black ribbon at the cutting point and then cut the joint. The union of the two ends of the board are placed in the lower part of the door to prevent the union from being seen laterally through the glass.
2. Clean the accommodation where you should paste the new board. Our technicians use a brass brush for the drill like this (if the brush is very large will damage the door paint (we also have the original paint of the piazzetta stoves as supposed).
3. Clean dust residues, old glue or other residues.
4. Put a special antical glue cord that we include in the pack to all the accommodation. Be careful not to throw too much, so the glue doesn't come out.
5. Support the joint over the glue. Put a very small amount of glue in the union of the two ends to ensure stagity.
It is advisable to put a piece of aluminum ribbon in the union. This prevents the glue from sticking to the monoblock. If he hits the monoblock, he'd just take off the whole board.
It is advisable to give some light blows with a hammer in the corners to distribute the glue on the board, so that when the door closes, the board does not grow in a single position but is well distributed.
Put tape on the whole board. This is done if there is any area with a lot of glue, so that it does not stick to the body of the stove. You can also put paper glued with insulating tape.
6. Mount the door, close it and leave it closed 24 hours so the glue can dry properly, do not use the stove during that period of time.
7. Verify that the board has hit the door correctly.
